Bold garments, summery prints, and beautiful blowouts were displayed on full force at the STAUD NYFW Spring/Summer 2022 runway. Inspired by the fun and leisure of the Italian Riveria, the STAUD presentation went off without a hitch with a little help from Unilever Global Stylist Lacy Redway.

To bring that cool, summer breeze energy to New York City’s Spring Studios, Lacy created an Italian Summer Breeze Blowout that coordinated beautifully with STAUD’s colorful collection. Swept behind the ear and slicked back, this blowout chic and simple to style for a fresh look that transcends any season.
To create this look at home, here are the TRESemmé products you’ll need:
Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray
The inspiration behind this look is think, vacationing off the coast of Italy - easy breezy hair swept behind the ear. I wanted to celebrate the uniqueness of each girl so we have three looks: long hair blowing in the wind, a short blunt bob and gorgeous natural textures. In each look, we didn’t want the hair to feel like something you would spend a ton of time prepping. It’s a blow-dry and an easy tuck behind the ear.

Step 1:
Start with damp hair and prep strands using Extra Hold Mousse and Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray from roots to ends.
Step 2:
Using a flat four-bristle brush and blow dry product through to smooth hair out from roots to ends, ensuring there is no elevation at the crown or in the front.
Step 3:
Create a deep center part and blow dry flat, brushing away from the face so that hair lives behind the ears.
Step 4:
Once completely dry, spray head all over, using Extra Hold Hair Spray on a flat brush.
Step 5:
Secure strands in place with no-crease clips to keep the style looking clean.
