TRESemmé believes the pursuit of personal style can make women feel truly empowered. When you step into and own your authentic style you are able to achieve great things, both personally and professionally.
For decades, we have made it our mission to make salon-quality beauty care more accessible, and have championed personal style so that women can move forward in their professional careers on their own terms. However, we also recognize that Black women still face particular systemic barriers in the beauty industry that dismiss and devalue their style, and can hold them back from advancing in their career.
As a leader in haircare, TRESemmé has a responsibility to use our influence and platform to make a difference and elevate the Black community in beauty and fashion – industries that have been fixtures in the brand’s 70-year history. That’s why TRESemmé launched the Future Stylists Fund as part of our ongoing commitment to address industry-wide issues that perpetuate the negative cycle of systemic racism and to advocate for the representation of Black hairstylists in the industry, increasing training and education for textured hair, and celebrating diverse hair types in all spaces.
